The main body of Huaneng Jiaxing No. 2 Project (Tender Section I) was completed
On August 11, with the smooth decoupling of the last blade of the No. 1 wind turbine, the installation of the wind turbines for the No. 2 offshore wind power project (Tender Section I) of the Huaneng Jiaxing No. 2 Offshore Wind Power Project (Bid Section I) of the Ningbo Branch of the Third Navigation Bureau was completed, and the main offshore construction tasks of the project were successfully completed.
The project is located in the sea area of Jiaxing City, Hangzhou Bay. The wind farm has an installed capacity of 300 MW and a total of 50 6.0 MW wind turbines are deployed. This tender section is for the installation and construction of the foundations and wind turbines of 25-station wind turbines, including 11 single-pile foundations and 14 high-pile cap foundations.
After the project is completed, the annual on-grid electricity can reach about 510 million kilowatt-hours, which can save 155,000 tons of standard coal each year, reduce the emission of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide by about 340,000 tons, and reduce the emission of sulfur dioxide by about 3022 tons. The project is of great significance to increase power supply, improve the regional power structure, and effectively promote the development and utilization of wind energy resources along the coast of northern Zhejiang.
